Campus Crush
Personal project / Product design / Figma
In this personal project, I created a dating app for college students. I conducted research through qualitative in-depth interviews with students from Emory University to empathize with their problems, needs, and wants. Then, I defined what their biggest problems were before wireframing. After wireframing, I created a prototype of the “sign up” and “creating a profile process.” Finally, I conducted user tests to see how they interacted with the prototype, before going back in to make changes.
Challenge 1: How can I make a dating app for college students that allows users to be authentic?
Challenge 2: How can I create the app to be relevant to student life, focusing on personalization?
Challenge 3: How can I make a dating app that feels safer for students to use?

How do you usually decide whether to swipe right or start a conversation?
How do you feel about .edu email verification for safety?
What would make you recommend a dating app to your friends?
